Expecting My First Kid

It's been just over 5 years since I'm married. Over these 5 years, me and my wife Suma have been very busy with our careers and also planning about starting our family. In the month of April, 2010 we finally got the good news. Doctor confirmed that our baby would arrive in the second week of December. My parents were more than happy about their first grandchild's arrival.

Right from the day we got the news, I started noticing a change in the way we were treated by my family members and relatives. May be it was because of the parenthood we were about to achieve. And there have been speculations, arguments and opinions whether it would be a boy or a girl, what would the baby be named and how the baby will be brought up. Nevertheless, me and Suma are very happy about our baby and how much joy would it bring in our family. Anyways, we wait with our fingers crossed.

Being A Wife's PR Manager

For the past 2 years, I've been working as a PR manager for my wife Suma. Sounds weird, but yes. The best part is that I realized this new role only a couple of days ago. Her career as a television show host in Telugu entertainment channels requires some kind of exposure and correct publicity, especially in the online world. It all started with creating an Orkut profile, which started receiving friend requests in leaps and bounds. But, Suma was very careful about accepting them. And them came Facebook. I had to help her maintain a Facebook profile and update her statuses often. Apart from these two, there was Twitter. She joined that instantly, when I told her what exactly it was and how it would benefit her.

Suma always insisted on having a separate web page for herself promoting her interests. I felt this was a good idea. And blogger from Google was the answer. I helped her create a blog and post her travels, shootings. It was drawing decent traffic and was very helpful in creating an image for her as an anchor. Do visit her blog and post comments. It's here....

Just a couple of days ago, while I was discussing these things with friends over lunch, I suddenly realized that, I'm almost working like a PR manager. And that's how the idea of my next post came up. While I was writing this post, Suma was busy preparing "ulli kaaram dosa" for me. She always tries to impress me with food. After all, she's a cookery show host and I need some remuneration for my services. See you with more boring posts.

Starting Afresh With A Blog Cleanup

It's been very long since I've visited my blog. Today I made up some time and logged into my blogger dashboard only to find too many gadgets, irrelevant posts, cluttered pictures messing up the look. Now it was time for some 'blogction'. I immediately removed all the posts, browsed the new 'template designer', zeroed-in on a simple template and uploaded it. Now, it was looking a little decent comparatively. I realized that the Amazon Associates monetization link was luring me for long. Signed up for it and installed on my blogger.

After some time and effort were spent, my blog started looking better. And when it came to writing a proper post, I couldn't think of a topic. Rather, I had too many of them in my mind. So finally decided to write up about the cleanup itself. Well, this is it. Will come up with better posts soon.
